We are a residential treatment center for youth with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders, offering outpatient behavioral health and on-site medical services. Located on 55 peaceful acres, we provide a safe, supportive environment grounded in traditional, cultural, and spiritual values. POSITION SUMMARY
As a key member of the CIRCLE Team and an integral part of the NARCH grant staff, the Training & Research Coordinator plays a central role in supporting the successful implementation of this federally funded research and training initiative. In this capacity, the Coordinator works closely with the Principal Investigators and project staff to advance both the training and research objectives of the grant. Training responsibilities include co-creating, promoting, planning and delivering the First Face for Mental Health and other CIRCLE training events. This position requires regular travel, including overnight stays and participation in community outreach and training activities that may occur outside standard business hours. Research responsibilities include assisting with the development and submission of Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocols and applications; recruiting and onboarding study participants; administering informed consent procedures; facilitating research surveys; supporting participant retention; adhering to all IRB requirements; processing participant reimbursements; entering study data; conducting literature reviews; contributing to survey design; supporting research pre-registration activities; and maintaining accurate research-related documentation. As a core part of the NARCH structure, the Training & Research Coordinator also participates in multiple weekly NARCH team meetings and collaborates regularly with CIRCLE partners to ensure the goals of the grant are met with consistency, cultural alignment and accountability. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Candidates must meet the minimum educational and experience requirements for the position and demonstrate advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant applications.
PHYSICAL DEMAND
While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be required to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods; bend, stoop, or crouch; lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; use hands to handle or feel objects and reach with arms; and communicate clearly and effectively in person and by phone. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Occasional extended hours or weekend work may be required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is typically performed in an indoor, collaborative setting. The noise level is moderate, and interactions frequently involve communication and teamwork beyond basic work instructions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide support to the Principal Investigators (PIs) for research and training development activities;
- Provide support for research execution activities;
- Attend weekly NARCH team meeting;
- Help organize and administer quarterly Tribal working group meetings;
- Prepare and organize meeting materials;
- Assist with drafting IRB protocols and applications;
- Co-create, promote, plan, and deliver First Face for Mental Health and other CIRCLE training events, including travel to the Seven Tribal Nations of the Healing Lodge (with possible overnight stays).
- Engage in study participant recruitment and retention activities;
- Assist in data collection activities at the Seven Tribal nations of the Healing Lodge and within the Healing Lodge;
- Help to prepare written reports; written manuscripts, slide decks, posters, and presentations;
- Complete IRB (human subjects) certification;
- Provide support with grant writing activities;
- Participate as an active member of the CIRCLE Team, contributing to community outreach efforts, relationship-building with Tribal partners, and supporting the mission and vision of establishing a national Tribal mental health emergency response training institute.
- Help represent CIRCLE at community events, outreach activities, and training engagements, ensuring alignment with cultural values, Tribal priorities, and CIRCLE's long-term development goals.

Candidates must meet the minimum educational and experience requirements for the position and demonstrate advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant applications.
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in related field required, OR 5-7 years of advanced professional training experience on topics of concern for the mental health field and/or Native American culture;
- Demonstrated interest and experience working in a mental health field;
- Knowledge of working in remote Tribal communities and in cross-cultural contexts;
- Demonstrated training/group facilitation skills;
- Knowledge of using social science research methods, particularly for indigenous studies (Preferred).
- Native American preference applies and highly preferred for this position. HL7N reserves the right to hire according to our Indian Hiring Preference.
- A valid unrestricted Driver's License and experience driving in all types of weather conditions is a plus;
- IRB (human subjects) certification, which can be accomplished as part of the position duties.

- 100% medical, dental and vision insurance premium is paid by HL7N first of the month after 60 days of employment.
- Up to $6,000 health reimbursement annually via Navia Debit Card for eligible medical, dental, and vision expenses.
- $75,000 life insurance policy and disability benefits, 100% employer-paid after 90 days (FT EE).
- 22 days of paid time off (PTO) annually, plus 12 paid holidays and up to 8 sick days per year (after 90 day probationary period). Employees are eligible for a Wellness Week after one year of employment.
- Employees are eligible for a 403(b) Retirement Plan with up to a 6% employer contribution after 12 months of employment, contingent upon working at least 1,000 hours.
