Automation Tester/ SDET

Build the Automation Frameworks Behind Enterprise-Scale Mobile Applications We're seeking a *Mobile Automation Engineer (Android)* who thrives on solving complex quality challenges and building automation solutions from the ground up. What You'll Be Doing * Design, develop, and maintain mobile automation frameworks for Android applications * Build automated UI, functional, regression, integration, and performance tests * Create scalable test solutions using Appium and open-source automation tools * Write and maintain automation code using Java * Partner with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to improve release quality * Participate in code reviews and automation standards discussions * Maintain and enhance automated regression suites as applications evolve * Support automated testing within CI/CD pipelines * Troubleshoot application and automation issues to identify root causes * Help define testing strategies for new mobile features and products Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience) * 5+ years of experience in software test automation or SDET environments * 5+ years of Android experience using Java and/or Kotlin * Strong hands-on Java development experience * Mobile automation experience using *Appium* (required) * Experience designing and building automation frameworks from scratch * Experience writing automated UI and functional tests * Experience with Selenium and TestNG * Experience with Shell Scripting * Experience working with source control and CI/CD tools such as: * Jenkins * Git * Bitbucket * Perforce * Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications * Espresso experience * XCUITest experience * CI/CD automation implementation experience * Unit testing experience * Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills * Excellent communication and collaboration abilities * Experience supporting enterprise-scale mobile applications Top Skills * Appium * Java * Android * Mobile Automation * Test Automation * Selenium * TestNG * Kotlin * CI/CD * Jenkins Compensation & Benefits Disclosure (California) In accordance with California pay transparency requirements, the expected pay rate for this position is: *$71.00/hour* Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, and overall qualifications.
