Project Overview

This opportunity is in the area of robot validation which includes HW/FW/SW validation. PT Student-Workers on this team will have the chance to work on current and new robot platforms.

In this role, you will:

• Identify issues: Sort through hundreds of real-time data points to find failures.
• Root cause analysis: Determine why an issue happened using automated tools.
• Predictive prevention: Use data to ensure the same hardware or robotics issue doesn't happen again.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Python, LLMs, AI based coding tools, basic principles of electronic HW validation

Program Requirements

• Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S., in a relevant engineering field.
• Plan to return to school after completing the program.
• Available to commit to 6 months 20 hours a week.
• Located in Foster City and able to come in 3X a week.
• Student Worker may not use proprietary Zoox information in university theses, publications, or share it outside.

$30 per hour.

This is a contract position and employment for this position will be through a vendor contracted with Zoox. The hourly pay range is posted and you will be eligible for a benefits package as offered by the vendor.

Zoox is developing the first ground-up, fully autonomous vehicle fleet and the supporting ecosystem required to bring this technology to market.
