Mechanical Warehouse Operations Technician

Location: Santee, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Full-Time | 5:00 AM Start (Flexibility Required)

A growing company in Santee, CA is seeking a Mechanical Warehouse Operations Technician to join their team. This is a unique opportunity for a mechanically inclined, hands-on professional who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working with both equipment and people.

This is not a traditional warehouse position . The ideal candidate will support daily warehouse operations while also assisting with local deliveries, facility maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and general operational needs.

Working closely with management and warehouse leadership, this role is designed for someone who enjoys staying busy and being a trusted resource. One day may involve organizing inventory, staging materials, and making deliveries, while another day may include repairing equipment, using tools, troubleshooting mechanical issues, or assisting with facility improvement projects.

Responsibilities:

• Support daily warehouse operations including:
• • Receiving materials
  • Stocking inventory
  • Pulling orders
  • Staging materials for delivery
• Make local deliveries using company vehicles as needed
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks
• Perform general facility repairs and preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues involving:
• • Equipment
  • Vehicles
  • Building systems
• Assist with fleet upkeep, shop organization, and warehouse maintenance
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (training provided if needed)
• Use hand and power tools to complete maintenance and repair tasks
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Support warehouse leadership and assist wherever operational needs arise

Preferred Qualifications:

• Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Warehouse, construction, maintenance, industrial, or shop experience preferred
• Comfortable lifting up to 70 lbs.
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Comfortable driving company vehicles for local deliveries
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn
• Able to work independently while also contributing as part of a team
