TITLE
Nurse - Float Pool

SCHEDULE
Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

REQUIREMENTS
- Current nursing license
- Relevant certifications

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
- Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment.
- Ensure adherence to nursing protocols and best practices in patient care.
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to appropriate healthcare team members.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Education and non-productive hours only for Float Pool nurses.
- Float Pool nurses working a unit should always clock in to the unit being worked.
