Job Description Are you a jack of all trades, if so, our Engineering Coordinator role will allow you to lead and train engineering and landscape team members in all technical and non-technical areas. This individual will be comfortable leading various projects from start to finish as well as focused on maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Maintain complete knowledge of resort fire, water, sewage, and irrigation systems. Respond promptly to all guest requests. Follow established safety procedures. Log and communicate essential information in engineering logs. Assign and delegate work orders promptly in coordination with technicians. Coordinate with approved vendors for invoicing, scheduling, and contracted pricing. Manage inventory control for all engineering areas, including setting and maintaining pars. Order and research parts for best pricing, quality, and delivery times. Manage departmental expenses for engineering and security. Oversee preventive maintenance (PM) process and documentation. Schedule shifts for the engineering department. Maintain up-to-date O&M manuals for all equipment. Keep current business licenses and insurance certifications for all contractors. Demonstrate strong people skills; proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel. Engineering experience preferred; parts knowledge a plus. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year experience in administration or project management, preferably within a hotel or property management environment. High school diploma or equivalent, Technical school desired. Ability to read and follow technical instructions on assembly of mechanical equipment and furniture as well as follow directions on warning labels. Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers, and management. Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record.
