The Town of Berryville, Virginia is seeking a detail-oriented professional to join the Town's Business Office team as the Front Desk Clerk.

The Front Desk Clerk assists in the daily operations of the Town Business Office. Work is performed under the general direction of the Director of Finance.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, possess excellent telephone, communication and customer service skills, be able to multitask effectively, and be able to develop and maintain effective working relationships within the workplace and with consultants, vendors, government officials, and the general public. The ideal candidate will also possess a working knowledge of accounting principles, spreadsheet applications, and Microsoft Office applications, and will be capable of mastering the use of the administrative/financial software required for Town operations.

The starting hourly wage range for this NON-EXEMPT position is $22.00 to $24.00. The Town of Berryville offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes (but is not limited to):
