Medical Laboratory Scientist

Vancouver Clinic is hiring a Full-Time 36 hours/week Medical Lab Scientist . The Medical Lab Scientist will support the busy clinical lab with Chemistry, Hematology, and Urinalysis. Play a vital role in patient care through accurate testing, quality control, and equipment maintenance. You'll perform routine lab analyses, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and support instrument operations and staff training.

Location: Padden Commerce Park (12019 NE 99th Street - Vancouver, WA 98662)

Schedule: 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, with possible rotating weekends.

Hiring Range : $36.60-$45.85 per hour and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine lab tests and report results accurately and on time
• Maintain and calibrate lab instruments; perform quality control procedures
• Document and communicate critical values and abnormal results
• Assist with instrument validation, troubleshooting, and staff training
• Support special projects and contribute to procedure development

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited MLS.
• ASCP certification required.
• 1+ year of clinical lab experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Must pass visual color discrimination testing.

Pay Range

$35.88 - $53.82
