Assistant Manager at Sonic Drive-In As a Cooper| Raynor |Young, Sonic Drive-In Assistant Manager, you are responsible for assisting the General Manager in managing the daily operations of the restaurant to provide quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient manner so that guests will have an enjoyable experience at the SONIC Drive-In. We typically promote from within, but if the right candidate isn't available, here is what we are looking for: Responsibilities include: Hiring, training, supervising, managing, directing, and developing team members to serve a SuperSONIC experience. Ensuring guest satisfaction to encourage repeat business. Helping employees understand the big picture and their roles by sharing the “why” behind tasks. Celebrating team successes and coaching for improved performance. Setting clear expectations and providing ongoing feedback during shifts. Creating an upbeat, positive atmosphere that makes work enjoyable. Managing food, paper, labor, and guest service standards. Maintaining and enforcing SONIC safety and sanitation standards. Complying with all applicable laws and regulations. Qualifications: Excellent leadership and communication skills. High standards for self and team. Positive attitude, especially during busy or stressful times. Resilience and problem-solving skills. Willingness to learn and grow professionally and personally. Ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently. Effective communication, basic math, and reading skills. Willingness to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
