Home Fragrance:
The Home Fragrance portfolio is anchored by three distinctive brands — Yankee Candle, WoodWick and Chesapeake Bay Candle — each playing a differentiated role in the portfolio. Yankee Candle is the portfolio’s largest brand and a leading national brand in the category, known for its fragrance expertise, breadth of scents and strong consumer awareness. WoodWick provides a more premium, décor-forward fragrance experience, while Chesapeake Bay Candle provides an accessible entry point into elevated home fragrance.

Position Summary:
The Associate Brand Manager, Global Brand Management position on Yankee Candle will support the development and execution of global innovation and growth initiatives. The role is a critical team member responsible for ensuring collaboration, communication and strong execution of global plans across all regions and countries.

• Collaborate across all key functions globally and be recognized as a key leader in driving the cross functional team and agenda
• Manage several brand projects and ensure delivery on time and in full
• Communicate regularly with regions and countries to ensure they are properly adapting the global brand strategy and innovation plans to their markets
• Support global brand leaders

Key Responsibilities:

• Leads cross-functional stage-gate execution for New Product Development (NPD) initiatives, ensuring key milestones, deliverables, and business requirements are met from concept through commercialization.
• Supports portfolio optimization efforts and contributes to innovation roadmap planning through market analysis, consumer insights, business performance assessment, and recommendation development.
• Partners closely with Project Management team and cross-functional stakeholders to keep projects on track, proactively identifying risks, mitigating roadblocks, and driving timely decision-making.
• Collaborates with Sourcing, R&D, Quality, and Operations to ensure sourced and developed products meet Newell Brands' product standards, quality requirements, cost targets, and commercialization timelines.
• Be a key liaison between the global team and regions/countries.
• Ensure feedback on innovation plans from countries is heard and fully considered by global team before final decisions are made.
• Lead packaging design process for new item launches.
• Lead global innovation projects to deliver on Yankee Candle strategy and business objectives.
• Contribute to post mortem analyses that identify growth opportunities for future launches; help embed the learning into the company.
  
  

Required Experience/Qualifications:

• Four-year college degree
• 2+ years of prior experience in brand management, new product development, or related roles is preferred.
• Desire to function as a business owner and a passion for brand management. Demonstrated ability to deliver results.
• Strong understanding of marketing principles.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and develop insights.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, written and oral.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing analytics tools.
• Up to 10% travel potential.
• Fluent in English.

The Massachusetts base pay range for this position is from $84,000 to $115,500. Salary will be based on prior experience related to the skills required for this position.
