We're looking for an organized and customer-focused professional to join a busy flooring and design team as a Part-Time Office Assistant. This role combines administrative support, customer service, and light bookkeeping responsibilities to help ensure the office operates efficiently and clients receive exceptional service.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a professional office environment. Duties:
• Answer phones and greet customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Provide administrative support to office staff and management.
• Schedule appointments and assist with customer follow-up.
• Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
• Enter customer information, invoices, and other records into company software.
• Assist with order processing and tracking.
• Perform light bookkeeping duties including invoice entry, payment tracking, and record maintenance.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
• Maintain office supplies and assist with general office organization.
• Respond to emails and customer inquiries in a timely manner.
• Assist with data entry and report preparation.
• Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic bookkeeping knowledge and experience preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Technology skills: Microsoft Office, email platforms, and ability to learn new software.
• Previous office administration, receptionist, or administrative assistant experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay:
$24.00 - $28.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule:
Part-Time
Monday - Friday, flexible daytime hours
