Responsibilities

• Support both front and back office duties, including greeting patients and assisting with rooming patients.
• Schedule appointments, answer phones, and handle administrative tasks efficiently.
• Take patient vitals accurately and prepare patients for examinations.
• Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture procedures, including drawing blood.
• Administer vaccines and provide other clinical support as needed.
• Maintain a collaborative and communicative relationship with staff to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
• Assist with onsite dispensing, occupational health, and workers' compensation services, as applicable.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience, including externship experience.
• Strong phlebotomy/venipuncture skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Excellent attention to detail and effective communication skills with patients.
• Strong computer skills to manage documentation and scheduling tasks.

Additional Skills & Requirements

• Medical Assistant certification strongly preferred.
• Experience working in a clinical environment with focus on health education and outreach.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting supporting multiple providers and staff.
• Preferred candidates are DOT certified and have experience with occupational health and workers' compensation services.
• Schedule includes open shifts during August, September, and October, with varied start times from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM, and end times until 5:00 PM.
