Senior Staff Accountant

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join their team in North Carolina. This role is perfect for an experienced accounting professional with a background in manufacturing who is looking to contribute to a dynamic team. Responsibilities Managing journal entries and ensuring accuracy in financial documentation. Performing account reconciliations to maintain precise financial records. Applying extensive experience in manufacturing to enhance financial processes. Collaborating with team members to ensure compliance with financial standards. Identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial reports and records. Assisting with financial audits and preparing relevant documentation. Developing and maintaining financial reports for management review. Qualifications 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong proficiency in managing journal entries and reconciliations. Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is a plus, but not required. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Required Work Hours The position requires availability from Monday to Friday during first shift hours. Benefits The position offers competitive pay ranging from $35 to $46 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
