Registered Nurse (RN) – Perioperative

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Perioperative care to join our dynamic team. This role requires a dedicated professional with significant experience in the Operating Room (OR) environment.

Position Overview

As a Perioperative RN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical setting. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in surgical and perioperative care, specifically in areas such as C-sections, D&C, PPTL, and D&E procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Operating Room.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of sterile environments.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes during surgical procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on postoperative care and recovery.

Schedule

This position requires working nights, comprising three 12-hour shifts each week. Availability for weekends and holidays is essential, as well as flexibility to accommodate the needs of the unit.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (or compact, if applicable) in the state of practice.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• CNOR certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent OB/Perioperative OR experience is required.
• Experience with surgical procedures including C-sections, D&C, PPTL, D&E is essential.

Vaccination Requirements

Candidates must be vaccinated against flu and COVID-19, with no exemptions permitted.
