Molded Dimensions Group, located in Marshfield, manufactures polyurethane mechanical components used in a variety of industries from heavy machines to small engines, marine, waste management, automotive, medical food processing, construction and mining.

We are currently looking for a highly organized working Lead person to oversee our Machine Casting department on 1st shift. The successful candidate will be a proven leader with good decision making, have strong interpersonal skills with mechanical aptitude. Experience in supervision and leading in a manufacturing setting required.

1st shift hours: 5AM – 3PM, Monday - Thursday

What you will do:

Overseas the department team members on 1st shift. May operator equipment on the shift, as well as be a self-motivated problem solver who will maintain a positive working relationship with other team members. Qualified candidates should have a good understanding of business practices, leadership/supervisory skills, and excellent attendance. As the go-to operator, you will perform periodic inspection of product produced and monitor production levels and address any concerns from other operators in the department.

Essential job duties:

• Lead the Machine Casting department
• Be the hub of communication for department and directly support all operations within the dept.
• Must uphold company policies, direct all resources within the department, request repairs, document and recommend improvements.
• Adhere to production schedule and all production deadlines. Assist on production line as needed.
• Troubleshoot reliability and quality issues as needed
• Enforce and adhere to all safety requirements within the facility
• Strive to generate quality production
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager
Preferred Experience:
• Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Candidates must be able to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, process sheets, policies and procedures and safety rules.
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds
• Working knowledge of shop mathematics and ability to accurately use measurement tools and equipment is necessary.
• Selfmotivated, problem solver who will maintain a positive working relationship with team members.
