Job Title: Assembly Technician

Pay: $20 - $22

• Based on Shift

1st Shift: 5:30am - 2pm

2nd Shift: 1pm - 9pm

Job Summary

The Assembly Technician is responsible for wiring and assembling industrial control panels in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Working from electrical schematics and blueprints, this role supports panel fabrication while ensuring quality, safety, and production standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Wire and assemble control panels using schematics, blueprints, and ladder diagrams.
• Gather and organize materials, components, and wiring for projects.
• Perform mechanical assembly, fabrication support, and soldering as needed.
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Inspect completed panels to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Qualifications

• Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, and ladder diagrams.
• Basic electrical knowledge and strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Technical education or control panel wiring experience preferred; entry-level candidates with electrical training are encouraged to apply.

Work Environment Manufacturing shop environment focused on custom industrial control panel assembly. First-shift schedule with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Louis, MO.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
