In this role, we rely on you to help make our patients feel comfortable and confident in their dental care. Your calm and reassuring presence comes through as you greet patients and listen to their concerns and/or questions. You will check their medical history, do a preliminary examination of the teeth and soft tissues, take x-rays, and perform oral prophylaxis & SC/RP. You will perform Dental Health Scans with our iTero scanner, and will also educate patients on ways to improve and maintain good oral health. As an essential member of each patient's oral health care team, you'll work together with the dentists and your co-workers to provide seamless care for your patients.QUALIFICATIONSMaryland Dental Hygiene LicenseLicensed to administer local anesthesia is a plus!Do you have a strong work ethic? Are you self-motivated? Do you have a warm and friendly personality? Can you work well with others in a busy dental office setting? If so, you may be perfect for this vital role in our practice!WORK SCHEDULEWe are seeking a part-time or full-time hygienist. Our practice is not open on Saturdays or Sundays, so you will never work weekends. We offer $39-46/hour.
