Minutemen Staffing is hiring a Slitter Helper to support steel slitting operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Job Summary The Slitter Helper will assist with coil handling, equipment setup, and quality checks while following all safety and production standards under the Horizon Steel Quality System. Responsibilities Follow all safety rules (hard hat, safety glasses required) Identify steel grades and inspect for defects during recoiling Assemble separator arms and remove coils from recoiler Apply OD bands and document coil information (cut #, dimensions, heat #) Maintain a clean work area and report quality concerns immediately Requirements May or may not have manufacturing experience Basic reading, writing, and math skills Equipment Used Coil handling and banding equipment Overhead crane Measuring tools (micrometer, caliper, tape measure) Apply today with Minutemen Staffing to join a safety-focused manufacturing team.
