Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN): IMCWe are seeking a skilled Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) to join our team. The selected candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a critical care setting.Position DetailsShift: 3x12 hoursWeekly Guaranteed Hours: 36Orientation: WeeklyUnit Size: 30 bedsPatient Ratios: 1:4 or 1:3ResponsibilitiesProvide compassionate and effective nursing care to adult and geriatric patients.Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments.Perform assessments and develop individual patient care plans.Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.Float to Medical Surgical and Telemetry units when necessary.Respond to emergencies and provide critical care as needed.QualificationsCurrent State License as a Registered Nurse.Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience, preferably in an ICU or IMC setting.Travel experience is required.Proficient in electronic health record systems, preferably Medhost.Ideal Candidate ProfileAbility to manage diverse patient needs including heart conditions, respiratory issues, and post-operative care.Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and families.Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in critical care nursing.Willingness to take on call responsibilities as required.Community OverviewJoin us in a location known for its outdoor recreation, with beautiful mountain ranges and serene lake views.
