Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Associate degree or technical training preferred Ability to read work instructions, drawings, and product specifications Basic computer skills required Strong math skills, including decimals, fractions, measurements, and conversions Experience Requirements 1-3 years of manufacturing, production, or industrial experience preferred Mechanical or technical background preferred Experience with extrusion, cable manufacturing, fiber optic products, or related production processes is a plus Experience troubleshooting equipment and production issues preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift Ability to lift, carry, and handle production materials and equipment Ability to work around manufacturing machinery and moving equipment Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail Ability to safely handle materials, chemicals, and production tools Job Duties Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion lines and other cable manufacturing equipment Adjust machine settings to meet production and quality standards Review work orders, drawings, specifications, and production instructions Inspect and test cable products to ensure quality requirements are met Perform re-spooling, bobbin winding, packaging, labeling, and related production tasks Enter production and quality data into company systems Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to reduce downtime Partner with Engineering to support new products and process improvements Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all safety procedures, ISO standards, and manufacturing guidelines Support additional production activities as needed Benefits – Offered by Our Client Health, dental, vision, and wellness benefits.
