Machine Operator Assistant

The Machine Operator Assistant works on a production line in a manufacturing facility to support the smooth and efficient operation of production equipment. In this role, you ensure product is made correctly, assist with machine operation, handle packaging tasks, and accurately document work using computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operating production line machinery
• Load bags into the machine safely and efficiently to maintain continuous production.
• Load pallets with products, ensuring they are stacked, banded, and secured properly.
• Perform general production and assembly tasks as needed to support overall line efficiency.
• Palletize finished goods and prepare them for storage or shipment according to production requirements.
• Operate or assist with forklifts and other material handling equipment, as required and if qualified, to move materials and finished products.
• Support packaging activities, including boxing, labeling, and banding products in an organized manner.
• Work at designated tables or workstations to complete and document specific tasks accurately.
• Use computer systems to document production work, record data, and maintain accurate logs.
• Monitor machines and production processes, promptly reporting any issues or irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with food manufacturing and safety standards.
• Follow all safety procedures, production guidelines, and quality control requirements while performing daily tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with forklift operation or other material handling equipment.
• Familiarity with banding and securing pallets for storage or shipment.
• Experience in food manufacturing or similar clean, climate-controlled production environments.

This is a Permanent position based out of Little Falls, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.35 - $20.35/hr.
