Merrick operates three main business lines: credit cards, recreational lending, and merchant services.Carson Smithfield, LLC provides a variety of post-charge-off debt recovery services, including digital self-service, IVR, live agent, and external agency management.Position Summary:At CardWorks, we are actively seeking a committed Quality Engineer II to be a crucial asset to our quality engineering team. In this capacity, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain automated tests for both UI and API functionalities. Your role will involve close collaboration with the QA team to ensure these automated tests are integrated effectively into our CI/CD pipelines.Essential Functions:Technical – deep experience in integrating a strong software development background with a passion for the discipline of Quality Engineering.Create and maintain automated UI and API testsWrite and execute Test Case to ensure development outputs meet defined specification cases in coordination with Business requirements and Technical SpecificationsPinpoint and rectify inconsistencies within card program setting controls, ensuring accurate configurationsDocument software defects using JIRA bug tracking systemBe able to use Test Case Management tools such as ZephyrMonitor bug resolution efforts and track successesParticipate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolutionParticipate in test case reviews and ensure requirements traceability, proper coveragePerform Exploratory, Functional, Integration, UI, back-end testing, White box/Black box testing.
