Federal Account Executive - NIH / CDC

What Is The Role Elastic, the Search AI company, is seeking a dynamic Federal Account Executive . This role focuses on growing Elastic’s presence within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and specifically within NIH and CDC accounts, helping public‑sector organizations unlock the full potential of their data through AI‑powered search technology. What You Will Be Doing Drive adoption of Elastic’s AI‑powered search solutions within new Federal Civilian accounts and deepen engagement with existing ones. Position yourself as a trusted advisor, assisting users and customers in harnessing Elastic’s search analytics to transform their data into actionable insights. Champion Elastic’s Open‑Source offerings, articulating the value and capabilities of commercial features. Identify and develop new use cases that showcase how Elastic’s solutions enable more efficient, intelligent work. Proactively identify new business opportunities with customers, navigating complex sales cycles. Develop a comprehensive business plan using community, customer, and partner ecosystems to drive significant growth within your territory. What You Bring Proven track record in SaaS subscription sales, especially in complex accounts, with evidence of quota overachievement and strong customer references. Experience selling to Federal Civilian agencies, particularly HHS, and a deep understanding of Enterprise Search, Log Analytics, Security, APM, and Cloud solutions. Strong ability to build relationships and establish credibility with developers and executives. Consistent and accurate sales forecasting skills using SFDC. Enthusiasm for the Open‑Source model and appreciation for the community that relies on Elastic’s solutions. Prior experience selling into the Enterprise accounts included in this territory.
