Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,060–$2,220 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Start date: 08/24/2026 Work setting: Surgical center Schedule: 7-on/7-off rotation (36/48) Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to obstetric patients in the L&D unit, including monitoring maternal vital signs and fetal status, assessing labor progression, and supporting safe delivery and postpartum care. Administer prescribed medications, manage analgesia/epidural coordination as appropriate, and respond to labor-related complications under physician or midwife guidance. Document care and patient status using the CPSI/ Thrive charting system; ensure accurate and timely charting for all obstetric events. Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and ancillary staff to coordinate patient care, discharge planning, and family education. Float to Med/Surg as needed; adapt to changing patient needs while maintaining safety and infection control standards.
