Payroll ClerkHawk Auto, is part of one of Chicago's dynamic and rapidly growing automotive groups, with multiple dealership locations across Illinois. As a trusted name in the industry, we are committed to excellence in every aspect of our operations. We are looking for a Payroll Clerk, on site for our Westmont corporate office.Essential Duties:• Accurate Payroll Processing: You’ll take charge of processing employee payroll on scheduled dates, ensuring timely and correct payments.• Monitor Time Reporting: Proactively monitor our electronic time reporting system to prevent errors and work with managers to address any issues.• Resolve Payroll Inquiries: Be the go-to person for employees, answering their payroll related questions and resolving any concerns with professionalism and accuracy.• Bonus & Commission Payouts: You’ll manage bonus and commission payouts, ensuring everything is handled promptly and correctly.• Generate Payroll Reports: Prepare and maintain important payroll reports for internal use and compliance.• Employee Benefits and Union Payments: Process invoices related to employee benefits and union employee fund payments.Qualifications:• High school diploma/GED required.• Payroll processing experience• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, payroll, ADP Workforce Now a plus.• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.• Good time management and organizational skills.• Able to prioritize and multitask effectively.
