Sikla USA Inc. is a subsidiary of the German- Austrian Sikla Group, a manufacturer of modular steelwork and pipe support systems for industrial steelwork solutions. From our Suwanee (GA) office/ warehouse and our Buford (GA) warehouse our team services the North American markets (USA and Canada), what includes engineering/ technical and logistical service to our partners, distributors and MEP customers, all associated with the Sikla range of products.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This role is open to US based candidates with an understanding of the US construction industry and with background in Customer Service / Inside Sales roles (preferred). The CSR supports our sales, purchasing and engineering teams and is assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities. The CSR responsibilities include answering phone calls, processing sales orders and helping with customer enquiries. 

DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Handle incoming phone calls and customer inquiries.

Processing customer orders, inquiries, and quotations accurately and in accordance with internal procedures.

Keeping customers informed about order/delivery status.

Assisting the sales/ field team with customer/order information.

Processing sales orders.

Checking stock levels and processing stock levels information.

Coordinating order-related warehouse information, including goods-in and goods-out status, stock availability, and shipment readiness, in cooperation with Warehouse Operations.

Processing warehousing tasks.

Processing logistic tasks (freight estimates, freight coordination, freight invoices etc.).

Supporting customer invoicing and invoice-related follow-up in coordination with Accounting.

General office duties (e.g. data entry, filing, copying).

Maintaining contact lists and general information in the ERP system.

Preparation of regularly scheduled reports.

Support management and internal teams with administrative needs.

REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

The role requires disciplined use of the ERP system, including accurate entry and maintenance of customer data, sales orders, quotations, delivery information, stock information, and follow-up notes in accordance with Sikla USA procedures.

Excellent written and spoken communication skills in American English.

Distinct reliability and commitment in internal and external communication.

Working with office management systems, MS Office (Excel) and office equipment (printers, copier etc.). 

Ability to work productively, efficiently, effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales.

Well-organized, self-directed, and able to work independently in our Suwanee and Buford, Georgia offices.

Capable of prioritising tasks and multiple assignments.

Good research skills and attention to detail.

Proactivity and personal responsibility.

Good attendance and punctuality.

Willingness to work overtime and/ or flexible hours when required.

Extremely good team worker demonstrating loyalty and commitment to both the organisation and its members.

Profound knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP Systems.

MS Office skills for Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

2- 3+ years of experience of sales and office administration.

JOB TYPE/ BENEFITS

Full time (40 hrs/week).

Working hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., onsite.

Location: Suwanee 30024, and Buford 30519 (starting Q1 2027), Georgia.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
