Job Description UW Medicine Montlake Digestive Health Center has an outstanding opportunity for a Patient Services Specialist 2. Work Schedule Full-time, 100% FTE (40 hours per week) Day Shift / Mondays-Fridays Department Description The Digestive Health Center at UW Medical Center - Montlake offers a full range of consultations and procedures for the care of digestive disorders and problems of the gastrointestinal system. Conditions treated include abdominal pain, gastroesophageal reflux disease, swallowing disorders, celiac disease, nutrition disorders, inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, disorders of the pancreas and bile ducts, and functional gastrointestinal and motility disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome. The Digestive Health Center also offers screening services for prevention and early diagnosis of gastrointestinal cancers, including colorectal cancer screening procedures such as colonoscopy and surveillance of other precancerous conditions such as Barrett's esophagus or intestinal metaplasia of the stomach.
