Program Assistant

Natick Community Services – Council on Aging & Human Services Program is seeking a Program Assistant to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of social, recreational, wellness, and special events for older adults. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a variety of activities and programs (social, educational, recreational, arts/crafts, wellness, and special events). Facilitate hybrid programs on Zoom and other online platforms. Enter data into the registration software system and maintain accurate records, attendance, and event documentation. Assist in scheduling, organizing, and facilitating classes or events, including set-up and breakdown of events. Support instructors and volunteers in program delivery. Assist with bi-monthly luncheons (set-up, serving, cleanup, and interaction with participants). Collect and review program feedback, comments, and ideas from participants. Monitor off-site programs as needed. Answer phone calls and inquiries from vendors, instructors, and participants. Provide support for program activities, such as preparing materials and resources. Perform industry research to stay up-to-date with best practices. Qualifications Associate’s Degree. At least two years of experience assisting with the planning, organizing, and implementation of programs or events. Strong technical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills. Special Requirements CPR and First Aid certified, or able to obtain within 3 months of hire. Must be able to pass a CORI check. Work Schedule & Compensation Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Total work hours up to 25 per week. Starting pay $23.00–$24.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. EOE #J-18808-Ljbffr
