Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding opportunity serving K-12 students as a contract-based occupational therapist in the Salem/Monmouth area. In this full-time, onsite position, you will support students across multiple schools, helping them achieve independence and academic success. This role offers the chance to collaborate closely with educators and families, and to implement impactful interventions throughout the school year.

This contract runs from September 8, 2026, through June 17, 2027, with one opening available. As an itinerant occupational therapist, you will travel between sites to work with students of diverse ages and needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) or eligibility to obtain
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT role preferred
• Familiarity with K-12 educational environments and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt interventions for a diverse student population

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessments, direct therapy, and consultative services to students K-12
• Design and implement customized treatment plans to support student participation in school routines
• Document progress according to district and state policies
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Travel between assigned schools as needed for student caseload support
