About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Development Services, Capex, and Design Execution to lead the capital planning, FF&E strategy, and hotel opening support across its portfolio. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Design and Development Services team, responsible for guiding the creation of unique design solutions that align with the brand's philosophies and exceed guest expectations. This role involves directing capital improvement and renovation planning, engaging with corporate operations and property leadership, and providing executive oversight of the annual capital budget process. The VP, DS will also serve as the company's FF&E subject matter expert, ensuring the implementation of FF&E standards and overseeing the procurement strategy to maintain the quality and design intent of the properties. Applicants for the Vice President, Development Services, Capex, and Design Execution position at the company should be passionate about design and development, with a strong background in the luxury hospitality field. A minimum of 10 years' relevant work experience is required, along with an associate degree or higher in a related field. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of domestic and international hospitality projects, experience in managing multiple complex projects, and a proven track record of aligning and integrating with various stakeholders. Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills are essential, as is the ability to mentor and motivate team members. The role demands a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a network of industry contacts and the ability to travel as needed.
