Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, welcoming, energetic, child-friendly, self-motivated receptionist to manage our front desk at Panda Pediatrics

Responsibilities 

• Greet all patients and families with a warm smile.
• Verify insurance prior to patient appointments.
• Check patients in and out.
• Be able to communicate to parents about co-pays and other feeds due at time of service.
• Schedule patient appointments according to guidelines.
• Multitask multiple phone lines.
• Scan new patient charts and consultation notes into EMR software.
• Keep waiting rooms organized and clean.
• Manage office workflow/schedule.
• Balance charges and receipts at the end of each day.
• Computer skills include Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Collect co-pays and outstanding patient balances.
• Provide general customer service and attend to the needs of customers throughout their services

Qualifications

• One year of customer service experience is preferred
• Previous experience as a receptionist is preferred
• Bilingual English-Spanish required.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Familiar with computers and scheduling software
• Excellent multi-tasking skills
