Human Resources Generalist

HR Specialist/Generalist Location: Denver Metro Area. Remote work available. Compensation: $70,000–$80,000 + Great Benefits We're partnering with a subsidiary of an existing client launching operations in New York to hire its first dedicated HR professional. This is a unique opportunity to build the HR function from the ground up while supporting a growing organization of approximately 20–30 employees. Although the company operates in New York, Denver-based candidates are strongly preferred , as the majority of leadership and employees are based in Colorado. What You'll Do Serve as the primary HR resource for the organization Develop employee policies, handbook, and HR processes Ensure compliance with New York State employment laws Manage onboarding and employee lifecycle activities Support benefits administration Assist with payroll administration (outsourced support may be utilized) Partner with leadership to build scalable HR infrastructure What We're Looking For 3+ years of HR Generalist or HR Specialist experience Strong working knowledge of New York State employment law is required Experience creating HR policies, handbooks, and compliance processes Ability to work independently in a start-up environment Construction, industrial, manufacturing, or related industry experience preferred Payroll experience is a plus Union and/or prevailing wage experience is a plus Why This Opportunity?
