Road Machinery & Supplies Co. (RMS) is a distributor of Heavy Construction Equipment. Our growth has created an opportunity for the right candidate to join our team as an Inside Sales Coordinator . This role will be responsible for helping drive increased revenue through sales support activities for the RMS Product Support Sales Rep. (PSSR) Team. This role is ideal for an energetic, dependable, and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, competitive environment and enjoys building strong relationships. The ISR works directly with the PSSR Team to proactively research parts solutions, generate quotes, process orders, and support the outside PSSR team in achieving parts and service sales objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with PSSR’s through consistent communication and follow-up. 
• Coordinate and support growth in parts and service sales.
• Proactively research, source, and price parts for customers – OEM & Aftermarket.
• Generate and follow up on quotations for parts, service repairs and component rebuilds. 
• Identify market opportunities for the Product Support Department
• Process and invoice sales orders and vendor purchase orders. 
• Utilize company, vendor, and industry resources to continuously grow parts & service knowledge.
• Coordinate with Parts, Service, and PSSR’s to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. 
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Komatsu, Astec, Terex, and allied manufacturer product offerings. 
• Actively support various special projects 
• Other responsibilities as defined by management may also be assigned.  

Qualifications/Skills:

• Computer skills and the ability to use multiple software programs to perform daily tasks. 
• Able to work responsibly, safely, and intelligently.
• Have the desire to take action, improve, and be appreciative.
• Possess the capability to professionally engage with customers, co-workers, and vendors in a respectful manner.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer-service skills. 
• Experience in construction, mining, aggregate, roadbuilding, or heavy equipment industries preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods. 
• Occasional travel to customer locations, branch locations, or industry events. 
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and through electronic communication.
