Communication Desk Asst 2 - B'ham

Genesis Technical is seeking a Communication Desk Assistant 2 for a long-term position in Birmingham, AL.
Primary duties include:- Coordinate and schedule all safety presentations and events
- Maintain event logs and track program metrics
- Record customer surveys
- Packing and mailing out material (some light lifting required)
- Monitor communications tools (email, phone, and online requests)
- Create and manage documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
- Bachelor's degree in business, communication, education, or marketing (required)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook (required)
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and customer service skills
- Dependable and reliable in all job functions
- Proactive and demonstrated ability to make sound decisions with minimal supervision
- Able to absorb and apply new creative trends, tools, and styles with ease
- Able to learn and apply new concepts efficiently
- Team Player
