A highly respected Minneapolis law firm is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal to join its growing team. This position supports a broad civil litigation practice and offers the opportunity to work closely with accomplished trial attorneys handling matters involving personal injury, employment disputes, construction litigation, homeowners' association matters, commercial disputes, and other civil litigation cases.

Position Responsibilities

• Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial and appeal
• Review, organize, and summarize medical records, employment records, business records, and other case-related documents
• Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, correspondence, and other litigation documents
• Coordinate document production, collection, review, and organization for discovery
• Manage case files and maintain litigation calendars, deadlines, and court filings
• Prepare exhibits, witness files, trial notebooks, hearing binders, and other materials for depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
• Assist attorneys with deposition preparation, including exhibit management and summary preparation
• Conduct factual investigations and legal research as directed
• Coordinate with clients, experts, vendors, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Prepare chronologies, damage summaries, and case analyses
• Assist with electronic filing in state and federal courts
• Track case developments and proactively support attorneys in managing litigation strategy and deadlines
• Support multiple attorneys and matters simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and organization

Qualifications

• 5+ years of paralegal experience supporting civil litigation attorneys
• Experience working on complex litigation matters through trial preparation
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, court rules, and discovery processes
• Experience with document management systems and litigation technology
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Paralegal certificate, associate degree, bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
