Chief Risk Officer

Leading risk, actuarial, and reinsurance strategy, the full-time Chief Risk Officer will manage enterprise risk functions, oversee counterparty credit exposure, and report directly to the Board while working remotely. Key responsibilities Draft and manage Stonehaven's risk appetite statement and escalation processes Build and oversee the enterprise risk management framework and conduct stress testing for various risk scenarios Set reinsurance strategy and independently approve reinsurers and collateral providers Required qualifications 15+ years in P&C actuarial, reinsurance, or enterprise risk, including senior leadership experience Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society Direct experience in structuring and negotiating reinsurance treaties Proven track record in counterparty credit and collateral risk management Experience owning an ERM framework and board-level risk reporting
