About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in related specialty License: Current RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CNOR, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Craniotomy and burr hole experience required Description: Start date preferred in the next 3-5 weeks. Shift days may include Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. Call and late days may be required. Experience in Neuro/Spine, Ortho/Trauma, General/Robotics/Trauma is needed. Previous charge experience is preferred. Patient ratio experience is 1:1. Allscripts charting system experience is preferred. Experience with different patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics is necessary. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more. Candidates should possess specific skills such as amputations, cervical fusions, craniotomy, and total joint replacement. Previous travel experience is preferred. It is essential to comply with a mandatory drug screen upon arrival. Candidates should avoid any substances that might yield a positive drug screening result.
