The role of an Outside Sales Representative is pivotal to our company as it involves direct interaction with our most important stakeholders – the homeowners. Our successful candidate will be responsible for identifying potential sales opportunities, engaging face-to-face with clients, and delivering solutions that meet their specific needs. Duties and Responsibilities

• Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers
• Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily
• Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers
• Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts
• Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and socially
• Sell the company’s products or services to customers within your given territory
• Inspect and assess home damage, provide homeowners with an understanding of repair needs, and explain the claims process
• File claims with homeowner’s insurance or provide retail estimates directly for necessary work

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a sales representative, though zero sales experience necessary to apply
• Highly motivated and self driven
• Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle to meet mobility demands of the role
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods, often under varying weather conditions
• Ability to carry a ladder (when necessary for rooftop inspections)
• Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all transactions and communications
• Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with a wide range of individuals and demographics
