Join a rapidly growing wholesale distribution and infrastructure organization undergoing significant expansion through acquisition and organic growth. This highly visible role serves as a strategic finance partner supporting one of the company's largest operating segments, leading forecasting, budgeting, performance analysis, and business decision support while working closely with Operations, Commercial, Sales, and executive leadership.
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of FP&A, finance business partnership, or consulting experience and a proven ability to influence business performance through data-driven insights. Candidates from fuel distribution, energy, convenience retail, wholesale distribution, logistics, transportation, manufacturing, or other operationally intensive industries are highly preferred. Success in this role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, strong relationship-building skills, executive-level communication, and the ability to balance strategic business partnership with hands-on financial analysis in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, Finance Business Partnership, Corporate Finance, Consulting, or similar analytical roles.
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and P&L management.
• Strong business partnership skills with the ability to influence decision-making and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
• Advanced analytical skills with experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Power BI and SAP (or similar ERP) preferred.
• Experience within fuel distribution, energy, convenience retail, wholesale distribution, logistics, transportation, manufacturing, industrial services, or consulting environments is highly desirable.
• Experience supporting acquisition integrations, M&A activity, or high-growth organizations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted financial advisor to operational and commercial leadership teams.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting, financial planning, and performance analysis for supported business units.
• Partner with business leaders to improve financial performance and support strategic decision-making.
• Analyze business results, identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Develop and maintain financial and operational reporting while driving process improvements and automation.
• Support capital investment evaluations, strategic initiatives, and acquisition integration efforts.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis and deep dives to understand key operational and profitability drivers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Commercial, Sales, and Accounting teams to support business objectives.
