Ultrasound Technologist

This role involves performing ultrasound examinations to assist in patient diagnosis, utilizing high-frequency ultrasonic waves with independent judgment. Key responsibilities include: preparing patients, positioning and explaining procedures to reduce anxiety, obtaining relevant diagnostic reports, consulting with physicians to determine appropriate exams, setting up and calibrating equipment, performing ultrasound procedures, recognizing normal and abnormal structures, monitoring patient condition during exams, documenting images, and troubleshooting equipment issues. Qualifications: Vocational or Technical School Diploma, with one of several recognized ultrasound-related credentials, and 1-3 years of technical experience. Skills required: technical proficiency in ultrasound procedures, good patient communication, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with healthcare providers. The position involves working on weekdays and weekends, with hours from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. #J-18808-Ljbffr
