Grady Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment on the 9CD Dedicated Education Unit. While this is a dedicated education unit, travel nurses will provide direct patient care for Medical/Surgical patients—not educator responsibilities.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience at a nationally recognized Level I Trauma Center while working alongside a highly skilled interdisciplinary team.

 

Unit Details

* 30-bed Medical/Surgical unit
* Mixed Med/Surg patient population
* Nurse-to-patient ratio: 5–6:1
* Night Shift
* 3 shifts per week (36 guaranteed hours)

Requirements

* Active RN license
* Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience
* Previous experience in a Level I Trauma Center or a mid-to-large acute care hospital
* BLS Certification (Required)
* ACLS Certification (Preferred)
* Positive attitude, professionalism, and strong time management skills

* Overtime: Paid after 40 hours

Compensation

* Weekly Pay: Up to $1928
* Hourly Rate: $53/hour
* Weekly Per Diem: $1100 (when eligible)
