Job Details: Job Title: Backfill - Travel - RN - Adult Transitions Location: Kansas City, MO Setting: Psychiatric Hospital Pay Range: 1790.32 - 1879.84 Schedule: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM Contract Length: 13 weeks Candidate Type: Traveler Requirements: Active Blue Card, CPI certification, ability to assess patients' mental health status, including recognizing signs of psychiatric disorders, substance use, and behavioral problems, ability to develop individualized care plans, medication management skills, crisis intervention expertise, therapeutic communication skills, BLS certification. Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care to individuals with mental health and behavioral issues. Assess patients' mental health status, recognizing signs of psychiatric disorders and behavioral problems. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs. Administer and monitor psychiatric medications, observing for side effects or adverse reactions. Support patients in crisis with de-escalation techniques and short-term interventions.
