The Maître d’is responsible forbeing the first point of contact forall ofour guests. The Maître d’is responsible forproviding genuine hospitality whilemaintainingall aspects of the space and meeting guests’ needs. This position has an hourly rate of $25 + Tips.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow the posted opening and closing duties. Takeaccurateand complete reservations. Always provide excellent service. Cooperate with the Management team to greet incoming anddepartingguests witha warm,knowledgeableand noticeably appreciativedemeanourand a genuine smile and eye contact. Set andmaintainthe dining room and podium environmentand ensurematerialsare perfectly clean. Havenecessaryknowledge of menu items toassistguests as needed. Assistguestand colleagues courteously and efficiently. Use the guest’s name appropriately and communicate it to restaurant colleagues. Assistin seating guests and pulling chairs. Assistrestaurant colleagues to prepare for service. Communicate other necessary information with colleagues (i.e.birthdays, anniversaries, special requests). Communicate through Guest Movement chatgroupany relevant guest movements, such as Aman F&B VIP chat. Coordinate set menus for small groups and distribute copies of the event form accordingly. Inform restaurant managers of daily reservations forecast. Assistinmonitoringall guests’ needs. Logininformation about guest preferences. Check daily for our regular guest preferences and record them in our daily listforservice. Assistin organizing coatcheckand third-party management. Assisttaking guests to the Jazz Club. Assistin providing "Magic Service" for hotel guests. Participate in daily pre-shifts. Input memberengagementsnotes. Train new hosts & maître d’s. Assign daily host sections. Ensure allsoigneesare givento the service team. Menu printing. Club member and hotel guest recognition initiative. When on shift,lead EOD reports. All other responsibilities assigned by Management.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

2 years’ experience in a luxury hotel environment or similar setting in restaurants or food and beverage Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and have full/open scheduleavailability Must be capable of working in a team-orientedenvironment to achieve the hotel’s common goal of guest satisfaction. Must be able to take constructive criticism and work well in a teamdynamic Positive, engaging, and energetic personality Must be personable with guests and be able toanticipatetheir needs. Able tobe organized, manage time wisely and work with little to no direct supervision. Very highattention to detail. Sensitive to cultural nuances. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English. Able tohandlea multitude of tasks in an intense,fast pacedenvironment. Excellentpeopleskills and the ability to work under pressure and with various stakeholders. Ability tomaintaina clean and professional appearance as per company policies. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Multi-lingualis a plus. Experience working withSevenroomsis preferred. Must be comfortable with exposure to the elements, assomeduties may require outdoor work or exposure to varying weather conditions.
