Scope of the Role As Human Resources Manager, you will provide senior-level ownership of the people function, ensuring HR programs directly support business performance and compliance. This role exists to lead and shape hiring, total rewards, and employee relations with consistent, well‑documented processes. Key responsibilities Direct full‑cycle recruitment and selection aligned to workforce plans Administer compensation, benefits coordination, and retention initiatives Manage employee relations, performance matters, and workplace investigations Maintain labor law compliance, policies, and HR best‑practice standards Partner with leadership on organizational planning and culture stewardship Required qualifications/skills 5–10+ years progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibility Advanced computer skills, including HCM proficiency Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong working knowledge of labor law and practical HR application If you’re ready to drive outcomes through disciplined HR leadership, apply today. How Your Days Flow You’ll be onsite in Rochester, NY, working Monday–Friday (8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.) as the primary bridge between leadership and employees. Your day typically includes advising managers on sensitive people decisions, reviewing HR metrics and open items, and moving between planned priorities and time‑sensitive needs with calm judgment. You’ll spend focused time in the HCM system to validate data integrity, prepare clear updates for leadership, and ensure documentation is audit‑ready. Expect regular touchpoints with employees to listen, clarify expectations, and resolve concerns early—while keeping an eye on long‑term workforce stability and a consistent, high‑standard workplace experience.
