Operations Manager

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Appleton, WI that is looking for an Operations Manager who brings both strong technical manufacturing capability and leadership presence to help scale operations, develop people, and drive continuous improvement.Responsibilities:

• Own and Improve Manufacturing Processes
• Drive Continuous Improvement
• Lead and Develop the Team
• Cross-Functional Alignment
• Reports to: President

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Lean Six Sigma or formal CI training
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role
• Experience with ISO or quality management systems
• Strong background in high-mix, low-volume or job shop manufacturing environments
• Demonstrated experience developing or improving processes, routings, and production systems
• Hands-on experience solving technical production problems in real time
• Experience with ERP systems and production planning tools
• Working knowledge of Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
