Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active Colorado School Psychologist License.
• Previous experience as a School Psychologist in an educational environment is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education processes.
• Excellent communication skills for working with students, teachers, and families.
• Ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Organized, flexible, and committed to fostering positive student outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations of students.
• Interpret assessment results to determine eligibility for special education services.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective interventions and individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Provide counseling and support services to students facing behavioral, emotional, or academic challenges.
• Lead or participate in multidisciplinary meetings and consult on student progress.
• Offer crisis intervention and risk assessment as needed.
• Advocate for student needs and contribute to a positive school climate.
