The Store Manager will oversee the daily operations of a retail store, managing a medium-sized team of 6-15 employees. Reporting directly to the District Manager, this role balances hands-on operational responsibilities with strategic growth initiatives to drive store success and ensure exemplary customer service and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor store staff to maintain high performance
- Manage inventory to ensure stock availability and minimize shrinkage
- Monitor sales and implement strategies to achieve targets
- Deliver excellent customer service and resolve conflicts
- Create and manage employee schedules for optimal coverage
- Conduct staff training and development programs
- Develop and control budgets to meet financial goals
- Oversee visual merchandising to enhance store appeal
- Generate regular reports on store performance and compliance
- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in retail management
- Strong skills in retail management and inventory control
- Proven ability in customer service and team leadership
- Experience with sales analysis and performance monitoring
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Effective time management skills
