AssemblerShift: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:40pmPay Rate: $20.50-$24.00Position Description:Assemblers perform various tasks here at Wabash that vary from location to location. We have Assemblers that are responsible for anything from installing and assembling subassemblies and component parts to operating rivet punchers to installing decals and much more in between.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:As mentioned above Assemblers can be responsible for a multitude of things, below are examples of the type of duties you could be responsible for:Own and help improve their Safety, Quality, and Delivery, performanceKeeping their work area free of any potential work hazardsCaulking materialsMeasuring and cutting materialInstalling rivetsOperating heavy machineryInstalling truck bed flooringFollowing decal templates/ blueprintsInstall signs, reflectors, fenders, mud flaps and other associated partsPerforms additional work as assigned by the Supervisor or Team leader. This may require the employee to flex into another departmentWear approved personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses with side shields, respirators, hearing protection, etc.Complete assigned duties in accordance with safety policies and practices. This includes regard to individual safety, the safety of co-workers and the safe use of equipment in the workplace.Tools & Equipment:Below is a list of examples of the potential tools and equipment you may find yourself working with depending upon your department and location. However, it's not required, here at Wabash, we give you the training to become comfortable in any Assembler position. Upon receiving an offer letter from us, you'll undergo orientation and several days of training, preparing you for the production floor.
