As a clinical provider and patient advocate, you'll be given all the resources you need to provide exceptional care, while expanding your clinical skillset. You'll work in an environment that encourages full clinical autonomy, backed by the ability to tap into a hygiene mentor program.

• Monday – Friday
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Lunch: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
• Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical and dental histories.
• Perform dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and other preventive hygiene procedures as allowed by state regulations.
• Take and evaluate dental radiographs.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, nutrition, and preventive care.
• Identify signs of periodontal disease and collaborate with the doctor to develop appropriate treatment recommendations.
• Document clinical findings accurately and maintain detailed patient records.
• Assist in developing treatment plans and explaining recommended care to patients.
• Utilize dental technology and tools to support patient education and treatment acceptance.
• Maintain infection control standards and ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and office protocols.
• Build trusting relationships with patients and deliver an exceptional patient experience.
• Collaborate effectively with doctors and team members to ensure efficient patient care and a positive office culture.

Qualifications

• Active Alabama Dental Hygienist license or ability to obtain licensure prior to employment.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
• Personable, professional, and patient-focused demeanor.
• Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality care.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Experience with Dentrix is preferred but not required.
• A growth-minded attitude and willingness to learn new systems, technology, and clinical techniques.
