Financial Analyst

Financial Analyst Hybrid | Salt Lake City, UT or Houston, TX Full-Time | $95,000-$115,000 A large publicly-traded manufacturing company is seeking a Financial Analyst to support a business unit through financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. This role partners closely with managers and leadership, providing insights, recommendations, and presentations that drive business performance. Key Responsibilities Analyze financial results, trends, and variances; identify risks and opportunities. Support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting. Develop financial models and scenario analyses. Provide analysis of sales, margins, expenses, capital expenditures, and cost center spending. Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for management. Assist with audits, SOX compliance activities, and ERP-related projects. Drive process improvements and reporting efficiencies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance required. Strong financial analysis, modeling, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to leadership. Advanced Excel skills required. Preferred Manufacturing industry experience. SAP FI/CO experience. Exposure to SOX compliance and external audits. Public accounting background with strong analytical skills. Ideal candidates are strong communicators who can partner with business leaders, identify trends, provide actionable recommendations, and translate data into meaningful business insights.
